Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road  together.
For much of the way, the Lord’s footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace.
But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.
For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints come more in line with the Lord’s, soon paralleling, His consistently.
You and Jesus are walking as true friends!
This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens: Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus’ are now walking precisely in His steps.

Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and Jesus are becoming one.
This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change.  The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.
Eventually they disappear altogether. There is  only one set of footprints. They have become one.
This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place.   Stops.  Starts. Gashes in the sand.   A variable mess of prints.
You are amazed and shocked.
Your dream ends. Now you pray:
‘Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits.  I was a new Christian;
I was just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You.’
‘That is correct.’
‘And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning
to walk in Your steps, following You very closely.’
‘Very good.. You have understood everything so far.’
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way.’
‘So, Lord, was there a regression or something? The footprints separated, and this time it was worse than at first.’
There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice.
‘You didn’t know?  It was then that we danced!’

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
Ecclesiastes 3:1,4.
Funny how you can send a thousand ‘jokes’ through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny isn’t it? Are you laughing? Are you thinking? Spread the Word and give thanks to the Lord for He is good!
Funny isn’t it, when you go to forward this message, how many on your list are not receiving it because you’re not sure they believe in anything?
It’s not WHAT you have in your life, but Who you have in your life that counts.. Think about that.
I asked for a flower,
He gave me a garden.
I asked for a tree,
He gave me a forest.
I asked for a river,
He gave me an ocean.
I asked for a friend,
He gave me ‘YOU.’

Just ask Jesus he is there with
Open Ears and Open Heart

Thanks so much for these Words
In times of Hurt pain and Sorow in are Lives
Jesus never leaves us or Forsakes us

The Invitation

by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting
your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your
dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if
you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and
closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without
moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can
dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your
fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic,
remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own
If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty even when it is not pretty every
day. And if you can source your own life from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still
stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full
moon, ‘Yes.’

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the

It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and
not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like
the company you keep in the empty moments.

Best regards,

This was Sent to me and it hit me wow How right is this

You know no mater what Battles we are in in our lives there’s always someone out there with a bigger Battle

Healing for the heart and health;

A true story from the heart of a Pastor.

Every month I like to put something in the website that is from my heart. This month I want to write something that is close to me. That would be my battle with my health and how I deal with it, how I talk to Jesus, how I look at my faith to get me though.

I am just like every single one of you, I am no different. Even though I count on Jesus and I have faith, I am also human. That means I deal with things, also I fall and I hurt, and yes I have even shed a tear or two.

I want to share with you a verse I look at when I hurt and following I will get back to the true story of a man and his hurt.

— The lord is good a stronghold in the day of trouble and he knows those who trust in him. —

(Nahum 1:7)

June has been the hardest month for me. I feel that it is always one health problem after another. I have had pains in my arms, it hurts to sleep, it hurts to drive, and most of all it just hurts all the time. I did not know what was going on with this 48 year old. Was it time to go? Was it the end of the road? Was my term up? No one knows but Jesus. So my body felt hurt and pain, and it was bringing me down. I am a Minister, I can’t be down. That is what I thought to myself. I am there for others, I pray for them. When people are down, I can’t be down. How am I going to help others when I am sick or in pain?

— We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed we are perplexed, but not in despair persecuted but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed. —

(2 Corinthians 4;8.9)

Jesus said to me “Jerry it is because you help others that make you strong. It makes your faith at its highest. It makes you into a man of courage.” I have to admit, I love when Jesus has these talks with me and helps me through then obstacles I am dealing with.

Life was not to be a bowl of cherries. If anyone has ever told you that or anything along those lines … well they are wrong. Everyone is going to have their ups and downs, joys and pains, sickness and health. It would be a lie if I told you everything is always going to be okay all the time.

— Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; you will stretch your hand against the wrath of my enemies and your right hand will save me. —

(Psalms 138; 7)

As a chaplain I see it all. Nothing on this earth is fake. You will deal with hurt, sorrow, pain, anger, divorce, and break ups, loss of a loved one, ups and downs, backstabbing, and downfalls. But you say Pastor, “Why?” Answer is because, it is the real world and Satan is a part of it and as long as he is, he is going to try to destroy your life. Another question you may is “How do I not fall in his trap?” Answer to that question is to turn your back away from Satan and say these words … “Stay away from me Satan; I am covered by the blood of my Lord Jesus”. My friends, it works. He is scared of the Lord Jesus and when Satan hears those words, he flees from you.

— Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe in me. —

(John 14; 1)

My friends, do you think I enjoy being in pain and not knowing what tomorrow will hold for me. Or that I enjoy going to the doctor for tests, or drop what I am doing to go the emergency room. No, I want to do God’s work. I want to be that servant and work with faith. But this body is just what it is, a body; a body with pain, sickness and hurt. Our bodies are like cars, they do not last forever.

— Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you. —

(1 Peter 5:7)

Every month, you will find on our site a page called “From the Pastor’s Heart”. It will not only be from my heart, but show you some things I have gone through to help show to have faith in our father, Jesus, and that you too can make it through anything.

You are welcome to send in a story or a poem. We will put it in our site, or just a story that may help others. Some could be sad or some may bring joy, but most of all they all help.

Thank you for reading from the Pastor’s heart.

God bless you and may he see you through all things, help comfort you, and walk with you and stand by you.

I Wanted to Say few things
about Billy Graham and that is in his 90 years on this Earth hes Gave every thing to Jesus he Had a Ministry like Jesus Did and that was take the sermons out to the People Like Jesus Did Jesus did now Wait for People to come to a church He Took Church to them and Billy GRAHAM had done that also
in the many Years Billy has Ministered to thousand i can even go as far as millions that he had Reached and Ministered to  it Takes a High Calling to go out to state to state to devote your time to a calling Jesus has Blessed you with
Heart to Heart loves that the lord has called them to do the Same type of work Jesus and Billy Graham has done on this earth and heart to heart wants to keep going with there Journey that the to men Before them have once been on
Billy is not only a mentored to this Ministry but a legacy a Higher Servant to the Highest and his name is Jesus
We love what we do and are very Proud to walk in the same steps of those to Fine Men
Here’s a thought to others out there Give to others as Jesus Has Gave to others and as Billy Graham had gave his 90 years to do Gods work
Billy Graham is now at home taking life one day at a time but still has that Drive to let all know who JESUS IS he is in his 90

—“It’s amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” Harry S. Truman

Current Age: 90
Truth………..from a man the media has never been able to throw dirt on…..amazing!
He has certainly hit the “world” on the head!

Billy Graham’s Prayer For Our Nation

‘Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.  We know Your Word says, ‘Woe to those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done.  We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.  We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.  We have abused power and called it politics. We havecoveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.  We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.  We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.  Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!’

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, ‘The Rest of the Story,’ and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord’s help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called ‘One nation under God!’
